For some people the hardest thing about the start of school, is knowing how their kids are going to get there. We suggest sending out their information multiple times.
It can start with a card/letter sometime during the summer, then twice via their homeroom teachers or class advisors. In certain cases, like when there is a change after the cards are sent out, call the parents and let them know. (Which is why it is very important to have a working phone number, for every student, all year round.)
Be open to answer any concerns about the child’s school transportation needs, and happy to answer any questions.
